A New York State Licensed Alarm installation and Servicing company, RAB Maintenance has been around since 2008.
Before bringing our ideas to our customers, we started by making our own homes more intelligent. Frankly, it became addictive. Our hobby became our job, and that enthusiasm shows through.
We have degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Radio Communications, and the know-how to make your home lighting more in tune with your needs.
There are two parts to the way we think about our business:
Automation is not just remote control
“Automation systems” have been around for nearly 30 years. Most of them have centered around extending control of your lighting and sound systems to remote control units and more recently your cell phones. Where is the automation part? An automated house should respond to you and events around you.
The sprinkler system should not only skip it’s cycle because it rained today, but also if rain is in the forecast.
So simple my grandmother can use it
Touch-screens and tablets are great, but what use is a system that requires training to operate. “Just works,” is part of our DNA. If you can push a button or flip a light switch, you can use our system.
