EZ Switch Surveillance cameras can capture any angle in modern buildings. Serving as protection from property loss and damage.

With so many CCTV and Security Camera systems on the market today, Which is the right one? Are you getting full use of the one you may already have? Whether you buy one from us, or just want one installed, we would be glad to help.

We have you covered – inside and out

EZ Switch surveillance cameras can capture any angle in modern buildings. Serving as protection from property loss, damage, or aiding in the defense of frivolous lawsuits. The right camera system has proven to be a smart investment.

Lighting Factors

Building lobbies and garages present challenging lighting conditions. Camera’s looking through a glass door of a lobby, past a brightly lit chandelier, or capturing someone’s face in a darkened corner are greatly affected.

Cameras featuring Back Light Compensation (BLC) and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) are indispensable in these situations. A properly trained technician knows how to position the camera and configure the camera to ensure the best results in these difficult situations.

Resolutions and image quality

For better video quality, higher resolution is typically the best answer.

Is it more important to see “what happened” or “who” was involved?

When people gather in certain areas it may be more important to know of their activity rather than who it is in some cases.

Who it is maybe more important when looking to identify someone entering a storage room, or trying to use a laundry room after hours. We are happy to help you choose the right type of coverage for select key areas by placing the right equipment at sensitive locations, and using more cost effective solutions in other areas that may only require casual surveillance. This helps to provide the optimal most cost effective option

Storage requirements

Large scale installations require different amounts of storage from private houses. A homeowner may be away for vacation or out of state for weeks at a time. In a multi-family building, someone is always around, so two weeks of storage may be sufficient to meet your needs.

Some factors to consider are camera settings like resolution and compression. These affect how much storage your system needs and how long your storage will last. At EZ Switch, our team guides you through selecting the appropriate storage size for your project.

Cloud Storage

Off-site, or cloud based storage may be just the solution to increase storage for key locations. Working with our partners, we can include all, or just some of the cameras in a weekly, monthly, or even multi-year storage plan.

If the local recorder (on-site recorder) is damaged, corrupted, or suffers a failure, the protected recordings remain accessible.

Retrofit Systems

We already know technology changes at the speed of thought. Despite what ads may say, NO camera lasts forever. In time, images deteriorate and sometimes upgrading is the only option.

Over the last few years a revolution has occurred in high definition over coax technologies. In 2017, when clients wanted true Megapixel performance, it meant replacing all of the camera wires in their building. Thankfully, that is no longer necessary.

Modern Analog High Definition (AHD) systems offer a comparable performance to their IP/Digital counterparts. This means we can re-use existing wires and upgrade old analog video systems to 4MP and 8MP (4K) cameras. Translation, as a client of ours you will see significant savings.

Beyond the basics

There are so many features available in a modern camera system it can be overwhelming. We evaluate each client’s situation individually to implement the right one. Extended night vision, two-way voice, automatic deterrents, alarms based on events, and even face recognition, are available to the average consumer. Even High Definition Analog systems have many of these features.

Triggers and special events

Video analytics communicate with sensors and relays, turning passive cameras into active deterrents. Opening doors, crossing an invisible line (like you see in movies), or movement picked up by a camera triggers the system to open in full screen alerting the doorman or security guard on duty. There are other alerts that include audible tones, flashing lights, and vibration.

Automatic Actions

Listen to a recorded message played automatically through selected speakers when an event takes place. The investment in additional wiring and equipment is quickly offset when they prevent acts of vandalism or illegal dumping.

The camera triggers a programmed playback like “Please leave the area,” or “The police have been notified and are on the way,” or they’ll see a security light come on with a siren blaring.

The system can also send emails, Texts (SMS), Tweets, and even push notifications to the user’s phone.

Video Management Systems

When operating multiple locations, a centralized video management system isn’t merely a convenience, it’s indispensable. For convenience, everything’s in one place. You can see all of your locations on one screen, your off-site recording, and remotely review and export recordings without logging into each system separately.

Whether you are operating a centralized security office, or just a management office, a centralized Video Management System is a cost-effective upgrade that can vastly enhance the capabilities of your existing CCTV system.
